2013 EMPIRE DRAGWAY'S You can download a registration form by
clicking here POINTS WILL BEGIN WHEN A DRIVER OR TEAM SIGNS UP FOR THE "1320 CLUB". The points will begin on Saturday, April 27 and end on Sunday, October 13. Please note, if both 4/20 and 4/21 are rained out, 4/27 will be Test & Tune and Swap Meet and points would begin on May 4. Points will be given to drivers, not cars. Points are calculated by your assigned number. It is the driver’s responsibility to use the assigned Empire Dragway number on a weekly basis. Drivers must check their points on a weekly basis and notify the timing tower of any discrepancies in their "1320 Club" points. SUMMIT SUPER SERIES In 2013 Empire Dragway will be participating in the Summit Super Series Program. Team drivers are not allowed to participate in the Summit Super Series. To be eligible for the Summit Super Series you must join the "1320 Club" Points Series, and obtain an "X" number from IHRA. For complete details log onto IHRA.com or call the track at 585-382-3030. Empire Dragway's points program will determine the Summit Super Series winners. The points standings as of August 24 will determine the 1st & 2nd Place in the Box class. Note: The No-box winner and runner-up will be determined by running off the points leaders as of August 24 in Pro, Street and Bike/Sled who are participating in the Summit Super Series. The run off will determine the overall No-Box Summit Super Series Champion and Runner-up, as well as the No-Box representative at the Bracket Finals. The run-off will be held on Saturday, September 7. If it rains on September 7, the run-off will be on Sunday, September 15. If both September 7 and 15 are rained out, a drawing will determine the winner and runner-up. The BIG E LIGHT PROGRAM - Open to all 1320 CLUB POINTS
MEMBERS Team drivers will be allowed, but they
MUST register as a team when signing up for the "1320 CLUB"
Points. Co drivers must race at least once during the season to be
considered a team member. TEAM MEMBERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RACE EACH OTHER UNTIL WE REACH THE SEMI-FINALS. Team members must notify the staging director if they are paired to race each other prior to the semi finals. If they do not, one point will be deducted from their team total. TEAMS WILL BE ASSIGNED ONE CAR NUMBER. The driver running for the points must use that assigned number. In the event that both team members are racing on the same day, the person running for the points will use the assigned team points number. The other driver must use a different number. If both team members use the assigned number on the same day, the driver who earns the least amount of points is what we will count. Points will be given as follows: 1 POINT FOR EACH ROUND WON In the event a driver is racing in two classes the driver must notify the timing tower officials, prior to the first round of competition, as to which class he would like points calculated. If the driver fails to notify the tower before eliminations begin, the class in which the least amount of points was earned is what we will count. Registration fee will be $65 per driver, which includes permanent number registration. Permanent numbers may be obtained from Empire Dragway. Drivers should familiarize themselves with the Wells Fargo Insurance Waiver & Release of Liability. (a copy is included your points packet) TO RECEIVE YOUR PRIZE MONEY & AWARDS, THE WINNING DRIVER MUST PERSONALLY ATTEND THE AWARDS BANQUET. BRACKET FINALS Empire Dragway will be forming a team of 39 competitors to participate in the 2013 Bracket Finals held at Pittsburgh Raceway Park, Pittsburgh, PA on September 18-22, 2013. In 2013, the Bracket Finals will be run on a QUARTER MILE. The number of competitors from each eliminator that will make up the team will be determined on a percentage basis of the number of entrants in the points program for each eliminator. The number of eligible participants from each eliminator will be determined on August 3, 2013. The points standings as of September 7 will determine who is eligible to participate in the Bracket Finals. GRAND CHAMPION The Grand Champion will be determined by racing the Class Champions on October 13. In the event that there is a tie for first place in any of the classes, there will be a run-off to determine the class champion. The Grand Champion will receive a Grand Champion Jacket, 54 Gallons of Racing Fuel, 2014 reserved pit parking, Grand Champion Trophy, Exit Gate Privileges and a Hotel Suite at the Banquet compliments of the CLARION HOTEL of Batavia. (Prizes cannot be substituted for cash) In the event of a rain-out on October 13, the final points day and Grand Champion run-off will be on Sunday, October 20, 2013. In the event of a rain-out on October 13 and October 20, the Class Champions will be determined by the points standings on October 6. The Grand Champion will be determined by a drawing.
